Tinker City! - Session 2: July 20th - 24th

July 20-24 from 9am-5pm; For Ages 6-17

Looking for a fun and creative week for your young maker? If your child loves to build and create things that are BIG, this session is for them! This week is all about building towers, forts, and bridges, using woodworking tools and materials to create their own Tinkering City! Every week campers are given a unique provocation, allowing for kid-driven imagination and problem-solving. From multi-story towers to castles, forts to bridges , each team will design and construct their structure, working with hammers, screws, and wood to bring their vision to life. By the end of the week, teams will showcase the city they built themselves—learning new skills and building friendships along the way!

Each session has a unique provocation and focuses on building, creating, and exploring in a fun, safe, and supportive environment where kids and teens can unleash their creativity and learn valuable hands-on skills. Whether your child is designing a rocket ship, building a fort, or creating a rollercoaster, they’ll leave with serious skills they’ll be proud of and a new appreciation for the world of making.

Looking for a summer camp that combines fun, hands-on learning, and creativity? Colorado Tinkering School offers a one-of-a-kind experience where kids and teens can dive into woodworking, building, and boat-making projects in a fully equipped camp.

Led by master boat builder Mark Young and multi-talented artist/instructor Jeff Grady, this 5-day camp is designed for young makers eager to roll up their sleeves and create something truly unique.
